John William Godward (August 9th, 1861 – December 13th, 1922)
John William Godward was an English painter from the end of the Neo-Classicist era. He was a protégé of Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, but his style of painting fell out of favor with the arrival of painters such as Picasso. He committed suicide at the age of 61 and is said to have written in his suicide note that “the world is not big enough for myself and a Picasso”.
His already estranged family, who had disapproved of his becoming an artist, were ashamed of his suicide and burned his papers. No photographs of Godward are known to survive.

This is why John Singleton dropped out of the film. Not only that Morgan Creek is suing Afeni Shakur for the rights to Tupac’s story. So believe me they are not interested in telling the true story of Tupac at all. This is about money after they saw the success of “Straight Outta Compton”. Tupac’s story is too deep to be distorted and the fact that these cowards would try to block Ms. Afeni out of her only son’s story proves their motives and agenda.
